”A six-year-old mare by Kayf Tara, Blow The Budget showed promise in a pair of bumpers six months apart last season, finishing a close fifth on her debut at Uttoxeter in October prior to taking fourth at Southwell in April. Surrounded by future winners at Uttoxeter, she didn’t give her true running on hurdling debut at the same track in May, but since moving to Scotland with Michael Scudamore she has really begun to thrive and will be ready to run in another novice/maiden hurdle this month. A half-sister to two winners, including the Tom George trained Kakamora who was rated 130 at his peak, she is the type to win races in handicap company and has the size and scope to take to fences in due course.”
